Plan a New Caney weekend around what you love.
Three flexible New Caney weekend ideas with official venue and event links.
These are flexible itineraries, not announcements of booked events. Check each venue’s operating calendar and weather conditions before leaving.
The outdoors-and-lunch day
Start with a trail at Lake Houston Wilderness Park, allowing time for the drive and current entry arrangements. Follow with lunch in Valley Ranch. End with a short neighborhood drive if you are exploring a move, rather than filling the day with too many appointments.
The activity day
Choose a karting session at Speedsportz, or check Big Rivers’ operating calendar for a waterpark visit. Review admission inclusions, age or height restrictions and weather policies. Save time for a meal and allow for changing plans.
The market-and-meetup day
Montgomery County Market Days publishes its Bull Sallas Park event schedule. Confirm the specific date with the organizer. A market morning can pair well with lunch, shopping or a drive through a nearby community.
